Live Demonstrations

GapVax, Inc.

GapVax hydro-excavators are multi-purpose systems for virtually every wet/dry vacuum project imaginable.  Their proven system prolongs the life of the filter bags and eliminates the costly threat of material entering the vacuum pump.  In addition to a 25' boom, the GapVax hydro-excavator is built to operate even in the coldest weather. GapVax can also custom build to fit your needs.

Gardner Denver Water Jetting Systems, Inc.

Gardner Denver demonstrated the following: a 50K water jetting pump that shows the difference between 40K and 50K surface prep and compares the effects of the 2 pressures on paint removal; a “multi gun control system” operating 4 water jetting guns at the same time from 1 single unloader valve system; a “rotary line cleaner” cleaning the inside of a large pipe; and a “high flow dump system” working with high flow water jetting tools to control the water flow to the tool.

Hammelmann Corporation

Hammelmann demonstrated the HDP-750 (1000HP) pump flowing 70 gpm @ 21,750 psi. The HDP-750 is a vertical, direct driven pump which has no high pressure packing and can be converted to operate at various pressure and flows. The pump was coupled to a Hammelmann 3D tank cleaning head with adjustable speed range to meet different application requirements.

Jack Doheny Supplies, Inc.

Jack Doheny Supplies, Inc. demonstrated the HXX-PD.  Vacuum excavation allows operators to safely dig with precision, in a less-invasive manner that causes less surface damage than traditional digging methods. The combination of high pressure heated water or air in conjunction with high vacuum (28”) facilitates precision, cost effective, and safe digging.

Non-destructive vacuum excavation is quickly gaining acceptance by cities, utilities, refineries, and contractors as a safe, effective alternative to traditional excavation methods.

Vacuum excavation has a wide range of applications: excavating remotely at long distances; exposure of live gas/petroleum distribution lines; utility excavation; excavation in frozen ground; potholing; slot trenching; water-line repair; valve box clean out; sign and pole installation and pipe location.

Jetstream of Houston, LLP/Guzzler Manufacturing

Jetstream's application experts showed how their innovative convertible pump continues to set the standard for safety and simplicity - ensuring pressure accessories are designed, built and labeled carefully so there is minimal risk of confusion or danger.  Guzzler demonstrated the new line of GuzzlerGripTM nozzles for industrial vacuuming applications - making this difficult work easier, safer and less fatiguing for operators.

NLB Corp.

NLB demonstrated how to improve your tube lancing productivity. They demonstrated three new semi-automated tube lancing systems, that not only clean tubes up to three times faster than manual methods, they minimize operator exposure to debris or high-pressure water. Their tube lancers insert rigid or flexible lances into a tube bundle by means of manual placement or a preprogrammed pattern. Their units are portable and easy to set up, and can be customized to suit your needs.

Features/Benefits: higher productivity rates than manual cleaning; minimizes operator exposure to debris and high-pressure water; simplifies cleaning of tubes up to 72’ (22m) long; and rotary option cleans/polishes with fewer nozzle orifices and more flow per orifices.

Peinemann Equipment B.V.

Peinemann Equipment B.V. demonstrated its latest high pressure cleaning machines for heat exchangers, the new Inside Bundle Cleaner (IBC)5 and the three-lance Trans Line Exchanger (TLE) special. Peinemann also demonstrated the dual Lance Tube Cleaner (LTC), designed to clean two exchanger tubes at the same time with a new portable style indexing frame.

StoneAge, Inc.

StoneAge demonstrated two mechanized systems designed to increase safety and productivity for waterblast operators using flexible high pressure hoses. The Sabertooth Dual Hose Reel is their solution to providing safer hose handling and more productive cleaning of heat exchangers, evaporator tubes, and other process piping. The Lightweight Positioner is a remotely operated pneumatic positioning device for advancing flexible lances across a heat exchanger bundle. These two mechanized tools greatly increase both productivity and safety.

Super Products LLC

Super Products’ Camel® sewer and catch basin cleaners feature a single control panel set-up that even the newest employee can quickly learn; unique ejector plate unloading for faster, cleaner debris removal and washdowns; and a single engine design that lowers fuel cost, maintenance needs and sound levels. Camels are also available with hydro excavation features to increase vehicle operation capability and an optional water recycling system to reduce time and costs associated with replenishing water supply.  In addition to the Camel, the company offers its Supersucker® industrial vacuum loaders and Mud Dog® hydro excavators.

Terydon Inc.

Terydon Inc. showcased the JACKTRACK Vacuum, the ultimate abrasive cutting system on the market, complete with flex track and mini-radius cutter. The JACKTRACK Vacuum operates with the same safe and effective management of multiple surfaces as the magnetic attachments. Electric or hydraulic controls provide for operator preference.

TurtleSkin WaterArmor by Warwick Mills

TurtleSkin demonstrated the protection it offers by shooting a panel of its WaterArmor product with a 40,000 PSI single orifice nozzle emitting 5.5 gal/ min. placed 3” away from the panel.

Uvac Equipment Rentals

The Guzzler CL is a powerful and efficient industrial vacuum system designed to clean up and recover a full spectrum of materials - from solids and dry bulk powders, to liquids, slurries and thick sludge.  Depending on material type, it can operate effectively in remote or inaccessible locations more than 1,000 feet away.  The Guzzler CL is simple to operate and easy to maintain.  It provides 100% accessibility to all internal chambers, and provides the lowest air to cloth ratio of any machine in its class.  28 in Hg, 5,301 CFM, 18 cu yd, Sixty, 72" filter bags.

Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC

The air machine, capable of handling wet or dry products, uses a positive displacement tri-lobe blower to create air flow and vacuum and a transfer case to drive the blower.  The blower's air flow is used to move dry material, the vacuum moves liquids and sludges.  The unit has four stages of filtration to protect the blower from material carry over.  Once the material is loaded in the tank, the dump feature empties the tank, cyclones and bag houses.  The liquid vac is an ASME/DOT 412 code vacuum truck.  This truck can legally haul hazardous material over-the-road.  The liquid vac uses a rotary van pump to create vacuum, and the pump is driven by a pto on the transmission.  This unit handles liquids, sludges and semi solids.  The tank can be emptied in one of three ways:  1.  by opening the rear door, raising the tank and dumping the material, 2.  pressure off-load by utilizing the vacuum pump and a four-way valve, or 3.  the transfer pump can move the material from the tank to another holding facility.
