A new committee has been formed within WJTA to serve stakeholders with an active interest in hydrodemolition – the removal of concrete using high-pressure waterjets. Many WJTA members are active in manufacturing hydrodemolition systems or providing this service.
The technology is seeing increased usage due to the benefits compared to conventional concrete removal methods, including a better quality of repair, selective removal of concrete, improved health & safety, greater efficiency and more.
The Hydrodemolition Committee will work on issues including education, safety, training and the environment.
